Glasgow 2014 will be the XXth Commonwealth Games bringing 6,500 athletes and officials from 71 Commonwealth Games Associations to 1 host city. 17 sports over 11 days of competition between 23rd July and 3rd August 2014.

 

The new Glasgow 2014 brand identity was revealed on 8th March 2010, Commonwealth Day. This is an important milestone in the planning for the Games. Read more

Check out the Games Channel and watch films that tell the story of the Games. At the moment, in these early stages of Games planning we've only produced a couple but in the run up to Games time we plan to produce a full series of films which documents the Games journey, giving a real flavour of what's involved in staging a major sporting event.
